Notion && Google Search Privacy Policy — ziyouma

Last updated: August 5, 2026 中文版本

Overview

This policy applies to the Notion && Google Search browser extension.

It connects websites saved in Notion and highlights matching results on Google Search.

The developer does not operate a user account system for this extension, and does not include analytics, telemetry, or third-party tracking SDKs. Extension data stays in the user’s browser except when sent to services required for a feature the user triggers (including license verification).

Data We Process

Notion && Google Search may process:

  • Notion records the user authorizes the extension to read (typically saved website URLs and related metadata).
  • Google Search page context needed to match and highlight results.
  • Preferences and license state.
  • Notion integration token provided by the user.

How Data Is Stored

Preferences, license key, and feature state are stored locally via Chrome extension storage APIs. The developer cannot read this storage.

How Data Is Transmitted

The extension calls the Notion API with the user’s token to fetch saved sites, and runs on Google Search pages to highlight matches. License verification uses Gumroad. The developer does not host the user’s Notion data.

If the user purchases or activates a license, the extension may send the license key to Gumroad’s license verification API (https://api.gumroad.com/v2/licenses/verify). Purchases are completed on Gumroad at https://ziyoumaa.gumroad.com/l/wivwh.

Data Sharing

We do not sell user data. Third parties receive data only as needed to provide requested features or verify a license (Gumroad).

Data Retention and User Control

Users can clear extension storage, remove the license key, or uninstall the extension. Local data is removed when the extension is uninstalled or storage is cleared.

Children’s Privacy

Notion && Google Search is not directed to children under 13.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy and will revise the “updated” date above when we do.
